When it comes to movies and going to theaters, there is no exception. We’ve come up with our list of favorite movie apps for your smart phone. If you haven’t already got one of these, check your provider’s app store for the best way to follow, watch and stay updated on the latest hits.

1. Flixster: Available from the Apple App Store and the Blackberry App World, this is an all inclusive program with features that let you watch trailers, read reviews from Rotten Tomatoes, and look up show times and buy tickets from movietickets.com. This is a one stop shop for everything you need to hit the cinema.
2. mSpot Movies: Another Apple app, mSpot lets you stream movies onto your iPhone or iPad and watch full-length films wherever you are. You can also watch these movies on a PC using your mSpotmovies account.
3. Moviefone: This blackberry app also allows you to find movies playing in your area, view trailers and purchase your tickets. If you’re out at dinner with friends or running late to the movie just open the app, order your tickets and you’ll never have to wait in long lines again.
4. IMDb Movies & TV: The app version of everyone’s favorite movie website, you can find movie details, new releases, and celebrity information. You can also watch trailers look up movie times, and see recaps of the episode of your favorite TV show you missed last night.
5. OneTap Movies: Available from the Apple store, this application recognizes your location and displays a list of nearby theatres and show times. You can read reviews, ratings and even box office sales, as you decide which movie you’ll head to tonight.
